Harbour Ridge Cottages is an ideal vacation destination for both fisherman and families. Leave the city behind and discover what we have to offer. A picturesque resort nestled among a towering array of pine and oak trees on the scenic shores of Chandos Lake in Apsley, Ontario.

Our resort is located on the southern shore of beautiful Chandos Lake and is situatied on 3 acres with a western exposure capturing spectacular sunsets. Our 9 cottages are secluded enough to enjoy a quiet getaway, yet only a short distance from many local attractions.

Conveniently only a 10 km drive to the town of Apsley where you can find a local grocery store, LCBO, drugstore, medical centre, Home Hardware, library (with free wi-fi), restaurants and a newly built community centre featuring a fully equipped gym and new ice pad.

About The Resort

A one hour drive north of Peterborough and two hours north of Toronto we are a local family-run business offering three season cottage rental  of 9 different cottages. We are a convenient 10 km drive to the town of Apsley, Ontario, a 14 km drive to the Chandos Public Beach (with public washrooms and a change area) and a short drive to local golf course.

Over the last several years, Harbour Ridge Cottages have had the pleasure of hosting numerous families which have been thoroughly pleased with our cottages and surroundings. We are proud to say that many of these families have been begun to make Harbour Ridge Cottages their annual summer vacation destination.





About The Lake

Chandos Lake is the largest lake in the Crowe Watershed. Its shoreline is quite irregular, with three large bays: West, South, and Gilmour Bays. The lake is drained by Flat Creek, which outlets at the north end of the lake and flows in a northerly direction for approximately 3.2 km before joining the Crowe River. As the name implicates, Flat Creek has little or no gradient.

Water levels on Chandos Lake are controlled by the Crowe River. Fed by springs, the water levels are subject to change depending on what occurs on the Crowe River between Flat Creek and Paudash Lake.

Perfectly Secluded.

Our cottages are secluded enough to enjoy a quiet family getaway, yet only a short distance from many local attractions including 2 golf courses, the Gut Conservation area with numerous waterfall and hiking trails - a photographers paradise and the charming town of Apsley. Here you will find all your basic amenities along with several quaint shops including a full grocery store with a fresh bakery, and the local ice cream parlour which serves up the famous Kawartha Dairy ice cream.

Over the last several years, Harbour Ridge Cottages have had the pleasure of hosting numerous families which have been thoroughly pleased with our cottages and surroundings. We are proud to say that many of these families have begun to make Harbour Ridge Cottages their annual summer vacation destination. We take pride that our customers truly have a get away where the rest of the world can slip away.
